FRANCHISE LAW
Our wide range of franchise services brings clients to us for a variety of reasons. Some own dealerships or franchises that the supplier or franchisor is attempting to terminate or refuse to renew. Others are threatened by the franchisor’s or supplier’s change in policy, a merger or acquisition, cannibalization of existing units, refusal to permit expansion or other unfair practices. Some clients tell us they have been defrauded, or not told the complete truth about their franchise purchase. Others feel that the franchisor is not fulfilling its contractual duties. Some of our clients are just thinking about buying a franchise.
Oftentimes, franchisees come to us in groups because they feel that they have all been wronged. We can also point you in the right direction to form a franchise association.

HOMEOWNERS’ ASSOCIATION REPRESENTATION
The Fortune Law Group assists homeowners’ associations with every facet of representation including, but not limited to the following: creation, revision, interpretation and enforcement of the association’s governing documents, drafting and reviewing contracts with third-party vendors, providing opinion letters on matters of interest to the Association, collection of assessments, Board consultation, and litigation services in the fields of construction defect, breach of contact(s), homeowner disputes, etc. And, because it is our absolute belief that, “It’s always cheaper to keep you out of trouble than it is to get you out of trouble,” we place particular importance upon making ourselves available to your board of directors whether by telephone, e-mail or via a physical appearance at the Board’s executive session. With this in mind and, unlike virtually any other HOA firm, our Engagement Agreement does not require any up-front payment and you are only billed for time actually spent on your behalf.
